It’s only been a day of measurements, but no player has helped themselves more at the 2015 NBA Draft combine than Myles Turner. Already regarded as an elite physical prospect, he measured just as impressively as expected.
It doesn’t hurt to have a 7’4″ wingspan.
Unreal.
Turner struggled with offensive consistency, which is the one and only reason he isn’t a Top 5 prospect. He’s an elite shot-blocker who can dominate the glass and space the floor with his jumper.
Turner’s offensive inefficiency in big games is simply too much of a red flag to ignore.
Turner disappeared offensively against high-caliber teams. He shot 50.3 percent against unranked opponents and 37.6 percent against ranked opponents.
If Phil Jackson and company believe that they can bring the best out of Turner, he will be in play.
