16 – Steve Novak – (2011-13) – Slim pickings on this one – but Novak was a Garden favorite, shooting 3’s like no one else in Knick history. Novak averaged 9 points / game in his 2 seasons off the bench, but shot 45% from 3 and beyond. Great video here on why Novak was the best #16 in Knick history; the whole video is entertaining, but start at the 2:30 mark to here how Novak lit up the Garden.
Honorable Mention – Howard Komives – (1964-68) – Solid guard, averaged 12 points a game, but was part of a crowded backcourt allowing the Knicks to have the pieces for a trade with the Pistons to bring in Hall of Famer Dave DeBusschere.
