12 – Dick Barnett – (1965-73) – Dick Barnett is was one of the most unheralded Knicks, part of both Championship teams, albeit a lesser role behind Earl Monroe on the “73 team. After averaging 23.1 points per game in his first year with the Knicks, Barnett played into the “team” game for the Knicks as Reed, Frazier, Bradley and DeBusschere came on board to round out the starting 5. Barnett is most well known for the way he kicked his legs back on his jumpers.
Honorable Mention – Kenny Sears – (1955-62) – Sears was a 2 time All Star averaging over 16 points and 9 rebounds.
