8 – Walt Bellamy – (1965-69) – How do you leave a Hall of Famer off this list? While Bellamy made his mark with other NBA franchises, he averaged 19 points and 13 rebounds in his 4 seasons with the Knicks. However, Bellamy’s most significant contribution was being the trade piece used to acquire Dave DeBusschere from the Detroit Pistons.

Honorable Mention – Latrell Sprewell – (1999-2003) – Spree was perhaps the most intense and athletic Knick of all time. Sprewell led the Knicks into the NBA finals, scoring nearing 18 points per game in his 5 NY seasons, and raising his level in the playoffs as a 20 point scorer, including 35 in game 5:
