5 – Tim Hardaway Jr. (2014-present). This one is based off of pure potential and hope that the young two-guard continues to improve and excel in the Knicks system. #5 seems to be the #12 of the Yankees as whoever takes that number is gone within a year. Hardaway Jr. has shown a lot of promise averaging 10.2 points, shooting 36.3% from three in his rookie campaign. After his showing in Vegas this summer, and with the changes made to the Knicks system, he is primed to have a nice season for the Knicks.
