NOLA out on Jordan Hill? (10:43 am EST)
Wojnarowki is reporting that the Pelicans have cooled on their pursuit of Lakers’ forward Jordan Hill. According to earlier reports, that likely leaves the Brooklyn Nets as the front runners.
The Lakers are reportedly asking for a second-round pick for Hill.
Sixers get expiring contracts in Hawes trade (10:34 am EST)
Wojnarowki also has noted that the Sixers will receive a couple of expiring contracts in the Hawes trade, which makes a little more sense.

After the Cavs acquired Hawes, are they shopping Luol Deng?
The Wizards are among the teams talking to the Cavs about Deng, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.
However, Deng would be hesitant to commit to an extension with any club, and that makes a trade unlikely, writes Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
In addition to Washington, the Mavs, Pistons and Pacers are among the teams that have had conversations with the Cavs about Deng.
I have a hard time believing that Cleveland will move Deng despite all of the interest.
New York Knicks Updates (10:19 am EST)
Nothing to report. All is quiet for the Knicks, who are still trying to find an upgrade at point guard.
Shumpert has no damage to his ACL, which is good news as the Knicks are still trying to desperately move the third-year guard but are still demanding a first-round pick or someone to take Felton off their hands in a package with Shump.
