Number 6- Knicks Draft Iman Shumpert

With the 17th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks selected Iman Shumpert from Georgia Tech. Although players like Kenneth Faried and Chris Singleton were still on the board, the Knicks decided to go with the former Yellow Jacket. Not many Knicks fans knew of Shumpert before the draft started, but he may in fact prove to be a valuable player off the bench.

During his junior year in Georgia Tech, Shumpert averaged 17.3 ppg, 3.5 apg and most importantly he excelled on the defensive end of the court.
