Number 7- J.J. Barea Open to Playing for the Knicks
Dallas Mavericks’ guard and World Champion, J.J. Barea, told a Spanish website that he is open to playing for the New York Knicks. Barea said he would prefer to resign with the Mavericks, but would keep his options open for playing in another city.
Barea was a valuable piece to the Mavericks’ championship run in June, and teams had a hard time dealing with his penetration. Although the Knicks already have a loaded back-court, adding Barea would give Mike D’Antoni another guard to play alongside Chauncey Billups.
