1. Dave DeBusschere

Dave DeBusschere was the leader on both Knicks championship teams, and was perhaps the hardest worker on the team. DeBusschere played along side Walt Frazier and Willis Reed, and the players brought glory back to Madison Square Garden. DeBusschere passed away in 2003, but he will be remembered as a true Knick legend. In honor of his great play during the 70s the Knicks franchise retired his jersey number 22, and he was inducted into the Hall-of-Fame in 1983.

Dave DeBusschere spent his final six seasons with the Knicks and he averaged 15.7 ppg, 3.0 apg and 10.7 rpg. In addition, DeBusschere earned NBA All-Defensive honors six times and he was named to the All-Star team five times as a Knick.
