The New York Knicks will look to snap a five-game losing streak on Wednesday, Jan. 4. What must New York do to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks?

The New York Knicks have lost five consecutive games and no longer have an above .500 record. It’s been a troubling and tumultuous turn of events for a Knicks team that was three games above .500 as recently as Christmas Eve.

Now 16-18, the Knicks will look to right the ship during a home game against the explosive and surging Milwaukee Bucks.

New York’s defense has become the ire of both the fan base and the coaching staff. Fans have been calling for an improvement for weeks on end, but it took an atrocious performance against the Orlando Magic for the coaching staff to publicly do the same.

Following a 115-103 loss to the Orlando Magic, Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek made extreme criticism of the defense.

The question is: will the Knicks respond?

New York has a chance to earn a signature win over a postseason-caliber Bucks team. Defeating Milwaukee would bring the Knicks one win closer to .500 and re-establish the stars of The Mecca as a postseason-caliber squad.

The question is: what must the Knicks do in order to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden?
