One of the most beautiful aspects of basketball, and sports in general, is that it can be interpreted and appreciated in any number of ways. There’s no rhyme or reason to our line of thinking, just pure and unfiltered passion.

Take it from me; two of my favorite players of all-time are Travis Diener and Charlie Ward, and there’s no individual moment I can single out as the turning point for my fandom.

It just happened.

While I have the great honor of being able to express my appreciation for the New York Knicks through words, others have found different outlets. That’s the case with the interviewee at hand.

Elliot Gerard is one of the most gifted graphic artists in the world, and he just so happens to be living the dream by working directly with the Knicks.

Gerard’s artwork has been featured by the team, as well as players across the New York sports world. Thus, we aimed to get inside the mind of the artist and understand the muse for his passion.

Here’s our interview with Gerard about his life, career, and future project that could change the way we view sports.
