The New York Knicks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak as major favorites against the Western Conference’s worst team, the Houston Rockets.

New York is hoping to get Jalen Brunson (hand, questionable) back in the lineup tonight, as the team is just 5-5 without him this season.

With Brunson’s status up in the air, how should bettors tackle the prop market in this game?

Here are my favorite plays for Knicks-Rockets:

Rockets vs. Knicks best NBA prop bets

  • RJ Barrett UNDER 1.5 3-Pointers Made
  • Mitchell Robinson UNDER 9.5 Rebounds
  • Julius Randle OVER 26.5 Points

RJ Barrett UNDER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

RJ Barrett has not shot the ball well from beyond the arc this season, shooting just 31.8 percent from 3.

Barrett has failed to hit multiple shots from beyond the arc in 12 of his last 17 games, and if Brunson does return, Barrett will have a smaller share in the offense.

The other key is that RJ is taking just 4.7 shots from deep over this 17-game stretch, meaning he has to have a good shooting night to go OVER. Even against Houston, I lean with the UNDER at plus money.

Mitchell Robinson UNDER 9.5 Rebounds

Mitchell Robinson has double-digit boards in just three of his last 10 games, and now he faces a Houston team that is No. 1 in the NBA in rebounding percentage.

Mitch has seen his minutes sit in the mid-20s more often than not as of late, which is tough to ask him to get double-digit boards if he doesn’t get off to a hot start.

I’ll fade him against this Houston team.

Julius Randle OVER 26.5 Points

Whether Brunson plays or not, the Rockets lack a true defensive presence to handle Randle on Monday night.

Houston is one of the worst defenses in the NBA, and Randle is averaging 28.1 points per game since the All-Star break.

The opportunities are going to be there for Randle, especially against a Houston team that allows the most 3-pointers per game this season.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
