The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets face off for the third time this season, and the Knicks are looking to avoid their ninth straight loss against their crosstown rivals.

With Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving out of Brooklyn, the prop market has changed quite a bit for the team.

Here are three plays I’m betting, including two Knicks props, for Monday’s matchup:

Nets vs. Knicks best NBA prop bets

  • Jalen Brunson OVER 25.5 Points
  • Mikal Bridges OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made
  • Quentin Grimes UNDER 8.5 Points

Jalen Brunson OVER 25.5 Points

Is there a player hotter than Jalen Brunson right now?

It appears the Knicks point guard is taking his All-Star snub personally, and it’s creating some value in the prop market for us bettors.

Brunson has cleared this in six of his last eight games, including back-to-back 30-point outings. Brunson scored 26 points in the last meeting between these teams, and his sheer volume should allow him to clear this prop on Monday.

Mikal Bridges OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Mikal Bridges has been hot from 3-point range as of late, hitting multiple shots from beyond the arc in six of his last nine games.

This will be Bridges second game with the Nets, and he saw a ton of volume in his first outing, taking 18 shots and five 3-pointers on his way to a 23-point game.

The Knicks allow 13 3-pointers per game (25th in the NBA), so I’d expect Bridges to get plenty of looks from deep tonight.

Quentin Grimes UNDER 8.5 Points

Quentin Grimes’ role may be on the decline, as he played just 22 minutes and took just three shots in the team’s win over the Utah Jazz.

That’s 15 minutes less than he played in the game before the Knicks added Josh Hart, and Hart was the one closing Saturday’s game instead of Grimes.

Q has struggled with his shot at times, falling short of this number in two straight games. He’s shooting 34.6 percent from 3 on the season, but if Tom Thibodeau prefers Hart down the stretch, the opportunities are going to be hard to come by for Grimes.

I’ll take the UNDER for him here.
