3 teams Knicks could make a trade with during the 2022 NBA Draft

1. The Knicks could trade up for the Kings’ No. 4 pick
While we’ve yet to see what the Knicks’ plan for the point guard spot is, all indications point to the fact that Ivey would be the perfect solution. Given the Kings’ reported willingness to move out of the No. 4 spot for a ‘win-now’ player, the stars may be aligning for New York.
Pairing Ivey with the trio of Barrett, Toppin, and Quickley would give the Knicks athleticism, explosiveness, and confidence in the starting lineup. While it would cost a lot more than moving up to No. 7 with Portland, it’s something that New York needs to look into.
No one is sure whether or not Sacramento would enjoy the fit of Randle on its squad, but pairing Randle with Burks, the No. 11 pick, and multiple future picks would make sense for both sides, especially the Knicks.
Pairing Randle with Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox, Davion Mitchell, and Harrison Barnes, as well as the No. 11 overall pick, would make the Kings an intriguing team in the West, so this is perhaps a trade that could work out best for both squads. While some salary fillers might need to be thrown in, this is one to keep a serious eye on come draft night.
