The New York Knicks will try for a second consecutive win when they travel to face the Miami Heat. A look at this game’s odds and injuries.
After a downright miserable start to the season that featured David Fizdale’s firing, the New York Knicks have won three of their last four games. They even had a chance at a longer winning streak if not for a late-game loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Now, the Knicks are back on the road for another difficult matchup, after blowing out the lowly Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.
The Miami Heat are the Eastern Conference’s biggest surprise so far, especially after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers at home earlier this week. Behind Jimmy Butler‘s arrival and the play of Bam Adebayo, Kendrick Nunn, and Tyler Herro, this is a fun, young team with depth and the ability to take down anyone in their path.
For any chance to win, the Knicks must continue their recently found ball movement, which has contributed to their improved play of late. Their core pieces are all healthy, and Reggie Bullock could be the next player to join this group, given he’s finally practicing off fusion surgery. It might not be Friday, but he’s tracking towards debuting for the Knicks, after signing a free-agent contract in July.
Knicks odds against Heat
Favorite: -10 Heat/+10 Knicks
Moneyline: -590 Heat/+470 Knicks

After being the rare favorite against Atlanta, it’s a different situation at the Heat. The Knicks, perhaps rightfully so, are big underdogs based on their season-long record. Will they pull off the upset or at least make it interesting, though?
