Knicks vs Raptors odds, injuries for pre-Thanksgiving feast
The New York Knicks will travel north to face the Toronto Raptors. A look at this game’s odds and injuries, and how to watch it online.
After a disparaging two-game homestand against the San Antonio Spurs and the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks will hit the road for their final game before Thanksgiving. This trip takes them to Toronto to face the Raptors, one of the Eastern Conference’s top teams. The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada will host the action.
At 4-13, the Knicks are quickly spiraling downward. They have just a 2-5 record in this second set of 10 games, putting pressure on not just the team, but Coach David Fizdale. The final three games of this stretch are against the Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics, so the path towards success is hardly easy, especially with some of these games’ recent outcomes.
Another loss will keep the Knicks at the bottom of the East. Right now, they sit in 15th place out of 15 teams and are just behind the Golden State Warriors for the NBA’s worst record, even with a more talented roster to the 2018-19 team.
Don’t expect Elfrid Payton to suit up for the Knicks, as he continues to miss games due to a strained hamstring. Frank Ntilikina and Dennis Smith Jr. remain the team’s point guards.
The Raptors’ Serge Ibaka missed Monday’s game against the 76ers due to an injury. Don’t expect him to return Wednesday night, along with guard Matt Thomas.
