Aaron Holiday is the younger brother of New York Knicks shooting guard Justin Holiday and New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday. He’s firmly on the NBA Draft radar, but the Round of 64 played home to the best performance of his career.

With all eyes on Lonzo Ball, it was Holiday who stole the show as the best point guard on the floor—and, arguably, the best player.

Holiday put forth an efficient scoring performance, recording 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 shooting from the free throw line. He was methodical in his shot-taking and poised in the way he finished.

Even more impressive than the efficient scoring was the fact that Holiday recorded 11 assists to just two turnovers in 29 minutes of action.

Holiday has an intriguing physical profile and the raw skill set to become a legitimate two-way player. He’s a remarkable 3-point shooter who can work off-ball in the triangle offense. He’s also an intriguing facilitator who can create for his teammates.

Holiday may need another season at UCLA before he’s truly ready for the NBA, but he’s making remarkable progress during his sophomore season.
