Which elite 2017 NBA Draft prospects should the New York Knicks be scouting during the the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament?

The 2017 NCAA Tournament has been one of the most wild events in recent history. A No. 1 seed, two No. 2 seeds, and a No. 3 seed all went down during the Round of 32, leaving college basketball analysts and NBA scouts in a state of shock and borderline disarray.

The window to scout elite 2017 NBA Draft prospects in game action is closing faster than anyone could have expected, thus making the Sweet 16 the most important round of the Tournament thus far.

The Sweet 16 will provide NBA scouts and general managers with a unique opportunity to scout top talent in a head-to-head setting. That includes a highly-anticipated clash between the Kentucky Wildcats and UCLA Bruins.

With only a select few remaining teams possessing NBA-caliber talent, the New York Knicks will need to keep a close eye on all eight games.

The Knicks project to have a Top 10 draft pick in the first round, as well as two selections in Round 2. The sleepers will be evaluated, but it’s the stars whom Phil Jackson and his scouts will likely be focusing on.

Fortunately, some of the top prospects in the country will be active when the New York Knicks scout the Sweet 16.
