Through the most trying of times, Carmelo Anthony has remained loyal to the New York Knicks. The nine-time All-Star has led the organization to invigorating highs, and endured the polarizing lows, never once breaking his commitment to the team.

Thus, it’s only right to honor Anthony on his 32nd birthday.

Since being acquired via trade on February 22, 2011, Anthony has been the face of Knicks basketball. He’s been an active and contributing member in the local community, a voice of reason in trying times, and a source of optimism on the court.

On Sunday, May 29, Anthony celebrated a momentous occasion: his 32nd birthday.
