The top five in the East are pretty much guaranteed and you can put 2-5 in any order you want, but those are the top 5 teams in the East.  The bottom three playoff spots are up for grabs, but I consider the Pistons a favorite for one of those spots. The East is very top heavy but then some lottery teams that are already scouting players like Andrew Wiggins. There are some teams in the middle of rebuilding or just at the start.

The East is home to the defending champs, the best player on the planet, perhaps the best rivalry (Knicks-Nets), superstars like LeBron, Carmelo, D-Rose, and Wade, and young emerging stars like Kyrie Irving, Paul George, and John Wall. Basketball fans are very excited to see who can challenge the Heat and another entertaining year.
