I give the Sixers a lot of credit for moving on from the Andrew Bynum disaster and basically starting over. It’s hard to do that, but they have managed to do it in a big way.

Their offseason was basically all done on draft night as the Sixers haven’t signed anyone, but they made a huge splash by acquiring what many felt was the top player on the board in Noel. Add to that the fact that they landed their point guard of the future in Carter-Williams and traded for what could turn out to be another key piece of the future in White and you have to be excited about the Sixers future.

Add to that fact that they acquired a valuable 2014 pick in what should be a loaded draft and the Sixers did very well for themselves.

It won’t show up this season, but they made some excellent long-term moves.

Grade: B+
