Key Matchup: Tyson Chandler vs. Roy Hibbert

If the Pacers win Game 4 and Roy Hibbert has a big game, Tyson Chandler will be pointed at as the main reason the Knicks potentially lose this series. Hibbert has dominated both sides of the floor against Chandler and has made the rebounding category one sided. Knicks fans were worried about Paul George’s scoring, but it has been the domination of the glass that has controlled this series.

I am calling out Carmelo Anthony to get a double-double tonight with rebounds. Anthony has been inserted into the 4 spot and there’s no excuse why he cannot come up with at least 12 rebounds tonight. He is physical and when it comes down to it he is the team leader. If the Knicks need rebounding help, Carmelo needs to crash the boards. LeBron and Durant do it, so why can’t he?

With Iman Shumpert’s knee acting up again, everyone putting on a Knicks jersey has to step it up tonight. Shumpert has brought raw energy on both sides of the floor that honestly no other Knick has matched. Raymond Felton has to have a much better game and lead this offense the way we know how it can be ran.

Role players like Pablo Prigioni and Kenyon Martin have to maximize their minutes and not make mistakes when they are out there. Ultimately it is going to come down to the play of Carmelo and J.R. Smith. If they are cold again, the Knicks have no shot.

The Knicks will treat this like a Game 7 and we are looking at a classic Game 5 at MSG.

Prediction: Knicks 93, Pacers 87
