Former Knicks' guard Mike Bibby tossed out of son's high school game

Former New York Knicks’ point guard Mike Bibby found a way to get into the news yesterday, but it has nothing to do with a comeback of any sorts.

Bibby was ejected from his son’s high school basketball game over the weekend.

Just to get things straight, Bibby wasn’t coaching, he was a fan.

There’s nothing worse than screaming parents at a high school game who think they know everything because they played high school sports 30 years ago. Apparantly you can add the former NBA All-Star to that group of people.

Bibby’s son, Michael Bibby Jr., is the starting point guard for Shadow Mountain High; the same school that Bibby Sr. led to a state title almost twenty years ago.

He was eventually ejected by the referees and had to be escorted by police officers.

The most shocking part of all of this is that Bibby has a son in high school already as it seems like the elder Bibby came into the NBA not too long ago.

It’s doubtful that Bibby ever gets back into the NBA at this point, after he clearly showed signs of slowing down a year ago with the Knicks, but he can continue to keep his name out there by getting tossed from high school games.
