Ronnie Brewer: X-Rays Negative on Finger

New York Knicks guard/forward Ronnie Brewer has had some bad luck dealing with injuries since he signed with the Knicks in the offseason.

He had to have knee surgery weeks after signing as a free agent and has been playing through pain in that knee for the past couple of weeks. Now you can add a finger to the list of injuries as Brewer dislocated a finger in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

ESPN’s Ian Begley confirmed via Twitter that the X-Rays came back negative, which is a good sign.

With Jason Kidd out of the lineup with back spasms, the Knicks can’t afford to be without Brewer for any length of time.

Brewer and Kidd are both listed as questionable for Wednesday night’s game in Milwaukee.
