Knicks News: New York Has Added James White

The New York Knicks have come to an agreement with James White and signed him to a contract. The Knicks have brought in White for a little less than the veteran’s minimum of $1.4 million. Three Eye Sports agency, which represents White, said its client was excited about become a member of the New York Knicks.

“He’s excited about it,” Curtin said last week. “He’s going to have a chance to play (ESPN New York). He’s come a long way since his earlier NBA stint. I think it’s a great opportunity for him, especially with the personnel he’ll be playing with. He has some elite intangibles.”

White played for the Spurs in the 2006-2007 season and the Rockets during the 2008-2009 campaign; however, he played for a total of just ten games.

In the past two years White has played in Lega Basket Serie A, the highest level of club competition in Italian professional basketball. While in Serie A, White has become one of the league’s top scorers.
