Van Gundy: Woodson 'Right Fit' For Knicks

Former New York Knicks head coach and current ESPN/ABC NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy believes the Knicks made the right move signing Mike Woodson.

Woodson did a great job coaching the Knicks when he became interim head coach and Van Gundy likes the idea of having him as the head men for the foreseeable future.

“I thought the Mike Woodson hiring was the right move for that team,’’ Van Gundy said. “Obviously, Phil Jackson is the most successful coach in NBA history. I think [Woodson] is the right fit at the right time.”

Woodson now has a full season and a training camp to get his troops ready and it will interesting to see just how well the Knicks play.
