New York Knicks interim head coach Mike Woodson denies reports that said he is working with the front office on a new contract. According to the rumors, Woodson and the Knicks are working to remove the interim tag and make him the official head coach, ESPN New York.
“That’s not true, not at all,” Woodson said after practice Tuesday.
Woodson led the Knicks to an 18-6 regular season record and he helped the team win their Game 4 against the Miami Heat, snapping an NBA record 13-game post-season losing streak.
The Knicks have played well under Mike Woodson and he should be the front office’s first choice this off-season.
