New York Knicks forward Jared Jeffries expects to be in the lineup for the marquee game on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. Jeffries did not play in the last eight games as he was dealing with a right knee injury, but it looks like that pain has gone away.
“I’m doing great. I plan on playing Sunday,” Jeffries said during an interview on ESPN New York 1050’s “Ruocco & Lundberg” show.
Jeffries is averaging 4.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in 20.9 minutes for the Knicks, and is someone who they desperately need with Amar’e Stoudemire out of the lineup. Jeffries can match up well with the Bulls big men and can help out tremendously in the paint.
