The NBA and players union failed to reach a new collective bargaining agreement on Friday despite optimism from both sides. The meeting broke off and as of right now, no future sessions have been scheduled. However, according to Ken Berger of CBS, talks may occur sometime within the next couple of days.
“No contact or discussions between league and union this weekend, source says, but activity expected in “next couple of days.”
Who knows whether or not the sides will be able to come to agreement on the BRI split, but having a meeting is a good sign.
