The NBA and the Players Union will have a crucial labor meeting in New York City on Wednesday. High-level officials of both parties will once again attend; for the owners David Stern, Adam Silver and Peter Holt will participate and Billy Hunter, Derek Fisher and Ron Klempner will be the representatives for the Union.
Sources say if things go well in this session, both parties will schedule meetings on Thursday and possibly Friday. Some analysts, including Chris Sheridan, believe these latest labor talks are very promising. He thinks if the upcoming meetings are successful, the NBA will resume on normal schedule.
Knicks fans are hoping that will be the case so they can see the Miami Heat come to Madison Square Garden on the Nov 2nd.
