Amar’e Stoudemire said he would set up Knicks team workouts in Florida sometime during the month of September. Knicks fans were glad to see their franchise player step up and act like the leader of the team. However, with the disappointing labor talks Stoudemire has decided to postpone the camps.
He knows the league lockout will not end soon, so there is no need to rush and conduct team workouts. Stoudemire, and many other NBA players have a strong feeling that they will lose some part of next season. Some say the NBA will resume games in 2012, thus is would make sense for Stoudemire to hold the camps around December or January instead of September.
