TMac's Court Vision Is So Amazing He Can See Through A Hand

Knicks Plan to Reacquire Veteran Kurt Thomas

According to team sources, the New York Knicks are trying to reacquire center Kurt Thomas. Thomas played for the Knicks from 1999-2005 and was a valuable big man in the team’s roster.

Thomas, 38 years old,  is the oldest player in the NBA and does not have the same productivity as he had before. Last season with the Chicago Bulls, Thomas averaged 4.1 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game. Despite his mediocre numbers, Thomas was the veteran voice in the locker-room and helped Joakim Noah defend the paint.

Thomas is currently deciding between three teams for his next NBA destinations: Bulls, Knicks and his home-town team the Dallas Mavericks.

With the Knicks lacking skill on the defensive end of the court, they could use a player like Thomas to anchor them in that area. D’Antoni cannot rely on Jared Jeffries to defend the NBA’s best centers; however, Thomas proved that he can limit the likes of Dwight Howard.
