Jerome Jordan: Not dead, just in Serbia.

KK Hemofarm A-Z: Jerome Jordan

Looks like the big debate heading into the draft is whether the Knicks should go big or small.  It all makes a man wonder if we’re due any immediate help from Jerome Jordan, Knicks draftee in 2010 who shipped himself off to Serbian club KK Hemofarm, which sounds like a place that runs grotesque experiments on livestock.

How’s the big man doing?  Well, there were some growing pains – as with most Jamaicans who move to Serbia – but Jordan’s minutes grew steadily throughout the year and he ended up with a pretty solid showing.  With the season nearly at an end, here are the numbers: 15 minutes per game over 50 games; 8 PPG; 3.6 RPG; .7 BPG; 71% FG(!); 69% FT; 1.1 turnovers per game; and a foul every 5.5 minutes.  Best I can tell there are a lot of dunks going into that 71% FG.

So, dunking, fouling and pedestrian rebounding?  Who’s ready for the Jamaican Mozgov?
