1. Bernard King

Bernard King spent only four seasons with the Knicks, but he was one of the greatest scorers Madison Square Garden had ever seen. King had the ability to hit a shot from anywhere on the court, and defenders could not thwart his penetration to the basket.

Bernard King has left Knicks fans with great memories and he was one of the most beloved athletes in New York at the time. King scored a franchise high 60 points on a Christmas-Day game which is still regarded as the greatest performance on the holiday.

In addition, King was the only Knick to lead the entire league in scoring, in the 1983-1984 season he averaged nearly 33 points per game. Bernard King had his best seasons as a pro with the New York Knicks and although he never one a championship, King is still regarded as on of the greatest players in franchise history. In his time with the Knicks, King averaged 26.5 ppg, 2.8 apg and 5.1 rpg.
