3. Anthony Mason

Anthony Mason spent five seasons with the Knicks, she was the anchor to the team’s defense and he brought instant energy off the bench. Mason worked well alongside Patrick Ewing and the dynamic front court presented a lot of problems for the opponent. Mason had a penchant for grabbing rebounds and no other player could match the intensity in which he played basketball games. He was the Knicks spiritual leader and the team would not have been a great defensive squad if it weren’t for Mason.

As a member of the New York Knicks, Anthony Mason averaged 9.8 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game.
