Linkin' Center: Where The Knicks Clinch A Winning Record!

The Block That Made It All Possible (AP)

Take the jump for a few faaaaantastic Knick links.* You saw a pic of the block, now here’s a clip of the go ahead jumper.

* Times recap with an interesting quote by Carmelo:

Anthony is known to put offense ahead of defense, something for which the Knicks have also been known. Anthony said his last block would be more memorable than the last shot.

“The shot was cool, but they still had time to come back down and get a shot,” said Anthony, who had 34 points. “I just bunkered down and made a great defensive stop out there.”

* This is just too funny.

* I guess Donnie isn’t going back to Indiana after all.

* Amar’e’s ankle boot should be nothing to fret over.

“It’s for protection, to keep myself from moving the ankle,” the Knicks‘ power forward said. “It feels a lot better than it looks.”

Stoudemire contends he will be 100% by the Knicks’ playoff opener against Miami or Boston, “no question about it.” But whether they’ll be playing at maximum capability in their first playoff action since 2004 is now the major issue, with the opener only six or seven days away.

* WSJ recap.
