Friday night was a great night for the Knicks. The Knicks started the game off like they ended with the Bulls, and were down as much as 20 points in the first half. However, the Knicks battled back and knocked off the Clippers at MSG 95-91.

I know I’m not alone on this, which is Al Harrington has go to go. For the last several weeks the Knicks have flirted with Chicago and Tyrus Thomas. Thomas is a great athlete with huge upside if placed in the right system. The only reason Harrington has a place here is the fact he’s a scoring machine.

Tonight, Harrington went 3-15 from the floor and came off the bench. If Harrington has fallen out of favor with D’Antoni expect the Thomas talks to pick back up if Harrington continues to falter.

Another note, why is Douglas playing significant less minutes then Duhon now? Duhon has started as of late to shoot more and limit the shots for those around him. When Douglas is in the game the floor spacing is much better, same goes for Galo. Douglas deserves the minutes Duhon is getting and if D’Antoni doesn’t start sharing their minutes better this team’s second half will be tough to watch, which I’ve said in previous posts.

Last thing, Jonathan Bender has returned to the NBA thanks to his old GM with the Pacers, our own Donnie Walsh. Bender has played well thus far, but the problem I have with this is Jordan Hill. If you’re going to tell me a guy with two monstrous knee pads and an atrocious injury history can play for this team right now, why isn’t Hill playing? This pick is just making me more sick each day.
