Knicks fall to Bulls 89-98

It was another dreary night for the Knicks and their fans as Eddy Curry made his return to Chicago. Knicks started off hot scoring 34 points on the struggling Bulls. From that point on the Knicks went cold and shot a horrendous 16-47 from 3 point land.

The inconsistencies of this team continued; living and dying by the 3. Gallinari led the Knicks in scoring adding 18, all being 3’s. It’s interesting though that Douglas’ minutes continue to drop. Douglas only played 4 minutes tonight and got 1 more minute of action then the returning Eddy Curry.

4 players played 40 minutes tonight, and if this continues we’re going to see what happened last year happen once again, which is another rough second half filled with second half losses. D’Antoni has to do a better job of including his bench or the wheels are going to fall off quickly and the wins will come even less often, which I’m sure he’s sick of.

All in all, rough shooting night and the Knicks lost. Different night, but the same story applies.
